A prominent non-partisan socio-cultural youth group in Igbomina land, Igbomina Youth Assembly, IYA , has congratulated Governor of Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq on his re-election for another term in office.
In a statement by the Publicity Secretary of the igbomina youth assembly Abdulrasaq Ismaheel Opeyemi, and made available to Sobi FM, The President of the Assembly, Engineer Jimoh Abdulrasaq who on behalf of all Igbomina youth both at home and in the diaspora felicitated with the governor on his victory.
He said the vast majority of Kwarans have yet again entrusted Your Excellency with the State affairs for the next four years and it is our hope and prayer that this gesture would be reciprocated towards delivering the dividends of democracy to the nook and crannies of Kwara State as promised in your campaigns.
The president who said the Igbomina Youth Assembly have no iota of doubt in governor AbdulRazaq capacity and capability to better the lot of Kwarans, especially Igbomina land said the group is ready to partner with the State Government on community based initiatives, projects and programmes within the Igbomina communities
“We pray that the good Lord will continue to grant Your Excellency the required grace, will, wisdom and wherewithal to pilot the affairs of our State to greater heights,” he said.
