The Member representing Ilorin East/South Federal Constituency at the Federal House of Representatives, Hon. (Dr) Abdulganiyu Saka Cook-Olododo has commissioned eight public lavatories, with solar powered motorized boreholes and street lights.
The communities that benefited from the projects facilitated by the lawmaker includes Oke-Oyi market, New Shao garage – Akerebiata, Ondoko garage-Okelele and Olufadi in Ilorin East local government and Oko olowo garage, Gaa Olunlade and Tanke in Ilorin South local government, respectively.
Each of the eight (8) blocks of modern public lavatories facility handed to communities in Ilorin East and South consists of six (6)rooms of toilets and bathrooms, co-join with an industrial solar powered motorized boreholes with three(3) fetching points adjoins in eight different locations as part of his 2022 projects.
While handing over the projects to leaders of the various communities, Olododo who was represented by the Deputy Chairman of his campaign organization, Alh. Tunde Saad urged the benefiting communities to ensure good maintenance culture over the public facilities to enable it serve the ultimate purpose of improving community hygiene and environmental sustainability.
He noted that “Hon. Olododo realizes the health hazard associated with open defecation and the need to end it in his constituency. We also understand that there is no way personal hygiene can be achieved without access to safe water and that is why these projects includes solar powered water and streetlights to enable its usage at night.
“We urge you to maintain it properly to ensure it sustainably serves the ultimate purpose”, he added.
In their separate remarks, the Alagua of Oke-Ogun and the Bale of Oke-Oyi, Alh Abdulkadir Muhammad Laro and chief Soliu Odedeyi attested to direct impactful representations of Hon Olododod which has fetched their communities and other neighborhoods a construction of roads, schools, hospitals potable water and other various agricultural interventions include a different economic empowerment programs among other.
The representatives of the National Union and Roads Transportation Workers (NURTW) and Roads Transport Employees Association of Nigeria( RTEAN), New Shao Garage, Akerebiata, Alh Yinusa Aremu and Alh A . Lawal thanked Hon Cook Olododo, that he has not neglected them.
They noted that Olododo has been extended his infrastructure gestures towards the NURTW while partnering with them since when he was local government chairman.
” Olododo built Marafa motors park, the first of its kind in the north central, surprisingly, despite the outcome of the just concluded general election, he has not abandoned those initiated projects, it’s only God can reward him accordingly and pray for greater heights for Hon Olododo in a distance aspiration, he said.
In a same vein, the President of Tanke community Development Association, Mallam Suleiman Akanni, lauded Hon AbdulGaniyu Cook Olododo for his infrastructure landslide across the twenty three wards that is not excluded Tanke community, it is a rarest quality Allah bestowed on fewer people like him, the infrastructure gesture is commendable and entire community shall remain grateful and beseeched Almighty Allah to elevate him beyond human imagination.
