The Kwara State Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq today sworn-in the Chief Judge of the Kwara state High court of justice and the Grand Khadi of the Sharia Court of Appeal.
Sobi FM government house Correspondent reports that the two jurists, Honorable Justice Abiodun adebara who is now the chief Judge of kwara state High court and Honorable Justice Abdulateef Kamaldeen who assumes the position of the grand Khadi, kwara state Sharia Court of Appeal, gave their oaths to serve as prescribed by the law of the country.
The governor of the state, who congratulated the two legal luminaries on their deserved positions, urged the two judges to respect the oath they swore to and also work together with the current administration for the large interest of the people.
The swearing-in was witnessed by members of the state executive council, former grand Khadi and judges of respective courts in the state, families and friends of the newest judges, government functionaries and many more.
In another development, the governor equally sworn-in the members of the Kwara state independent electoral commission and members of the Kwara State Fiscal Responsibility Commission.
