A Mobile phone and accessory shop belonging to a middle-aged one Alfa Mohammed Abdulkodir was burgled and set ablaze this morning.
The incident according to the shop owner happened in the early hours of Monday, July 17, 2023, with the hoodlums carting away goods worth about 3 million naira, and later returned early hours of today to set the shop ablaze.
Speaking with Sobi FM Correspondent Toyin Saheed the victim appealed to the state government and philanthropists to assist him.
He said the shop is the only source of income with which he uses to cater for the needs of his wife and two kids after graduating from higher institutions with no employment.
Our correspondent gathered that the shop was burnt along with other two shops, selling furniture materials and provision stores.
