The corpse of an unidentified man was found today with his head cut off under the bridge of Ejiba Street, off Taiwo Road in Ilorin West Local Government Area of Kwara State.
Sobi FM Correspondent who visited the scene reported that the residents were thrown into shock as they woke up to the sight of the corpses, whose head and complete neck were cut off.
Speaking in an interview with our Correspondent, an eyewitness Engineer Sulyman Babatunde Gegele described the development as a threat to the community, saying they had informed the B Division Police Station, who evacuated the body and deposited it at the mortuary.
Gegele however appealed to the Kwara State government to assist the community, especially with the dredging of the River in order to allow free flow of erosion during the rainy season.
