The UAE Embassy in Nigeria, in partnership with the Helpline Social Support Initiative, has brought smiles to the faces of women, vulnerable individuals, and persons living with disabilities in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) by donating meat during this year’s Eid-ul-Adha celebrations.

The Founder of Helpline Social Support Initiative, Dr. Jumai Ahmadu, expressed profound gratitude to the UAE Embassy for their unwavering kindness and dedication to making a positive impact on the community.

She highlighted that this generous act is a testament to the Embassy’s commitment to spreading joy and compassion to those in need.

Dr. Ahmadu noted that this is the third consecutive year that the UAE Embassy has supported the needy in Abuja and its environs through this initiative.

She emphasized the significance of such gestures in uplifting the less privileged, especially women, during festive occasions.

“By identifying with Helpline and continuously supporting our cause, the UAE Embassy has demonstrated an admirable dedication to community support.

This initiative is not just about donations; it’s about bringing joy and hope to those who need it the most,” Dr. Ahmadu stated.

She also called on other relevant organizations at all levels to emulate this act of kindness.

She urged them to go beyond the usual festivities and use such occasions to empower the vulnerable in society, thereby making a lasting difference in their lives.

The beneficiaries of this year’s meat donation lauded the efforts of the UAE Embassy and Helpline Social Support Initiative, expressing their heartfelt appreciation for the compassion and support shown to them during the Eid-ul-Adha celebrations.
