President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of the following former governor of Katsina state Alhaji Aminu Masari as the chairman of the board of the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund):
In a statement by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity Chief Ajuri Ngalale other members of the board include an ally of Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq and a chieftain of the All Progressive Congress in Kwara State Engineer Nurudeen Adeyemi, Senator Sani Danladi, and Mr. Sunday Adepoju.
Others are Mrs. Esther Onyinyechukwu Ukachukwu, Mr. Turaki Ibrahim, and Mr. Aboh Eduyok.
The President expects the new members of the board of this pivotal institutional vehicle to be dedicated and committed to driving TETFund’s objective of providing the needed support for tertiary education to enhance the productivity and quality of higher education.
