A stalwart of the All Progressives Congress (APC), in Kwara state Oloriewe Raheem Adedoyin, has commended the appointment of Engr. Nurudeen Adeyemi as a member of the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFUND) Board, describing him as a valuable asset to Nigeria.
In a letter of appreciation, Adedoyin expressed gratitude to Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq and President Bola Tinubu for facilitating the appointment.
He extended his gratitude to President Tinubu and Governor AbdulRazaq for the timely appointment of an “authentic Kwaran.”
“President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, and Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, CON, have once again brought smiles to the faces of Kwarans with yet another high-profile federal appointment to a worthy Kwaran,” Adedoyin stated.
He noted that the appointment of Engr. Nurudeen Adeyemi has sparked spontaneous celebration in the state, emphasizing Adeyemi’s exceptional service record as a Nigerian in the diaspora who has made significant philanthropic contributions to the Kwarans at home.
“Through his ENACT innovation hub, the Youth in Kwara South are benefitting from JAMB, UTME preparatory training. Through the Igbomina Mobile Clinic, which he co-founded, many Kwarans in rural communities in Kwara South have had access to free medical care,” Adedoyin highlighted.
Adedoyin also commended Adeyemi’s generous disposition, noting that despite not holding political office in Nigeria or having access to the spoils of office, he has remained a blessing to both the political class and the underprivileged.
He further praised Adeyemi’s ability to connect with the grassroots, especially in the state of harmony.
“Engr. Adeyemi is a policy wonk whose tested capacity will reflect in his new national assignment. He is a valuable asset to the nation,” Adedoyin concluded.
