The Oloro of Oro Kingdom, His Royal Majesty Oba Joel Olaniyi Oyatoye Titiloye Olufayo II, has announced the appointment of Saeed Tijjani as the Chair of the Oro Kingdom Digital Innovation Committee.

Tijjani, who hails from Iludun Oro, Ile Alade Compound, is expected to lead the committee in developing and implementing innovative strategies to position Oro Kingdom as a digitally inclusive community.

Tijjani was announced on Sunday as the head of the Digital and Innovation committee, in line with the vision of the new monarch for a more digital inclusive community through strategic innovations.

The appointment of Saeed Tijjani is part of the recent lists of different committees and associations constituted by the monarch to champion the development, unity, and economic advancement of the Oro Kingdom.

Recall that the first batch of appointments was announced during the Oloro of Oro Kingdom, HRM Oba Joel Olaniyi Oyatoye Titiloye Olufayo II’s visit to Lagos, where he met with the descendants of Oro Kingdom.

His Royal Majesty Oba Joel noted that the appointment becomes necessary towards aligning and positioning the Oro Kingdom for sustainable development and economic advancement.

Saeed Tijjani is to work together with other appointees for collective goals towards ensuring the development and economic advancement of the kingdom.

Also appointed to join the team is Alagbala Abdul Fatai to head the Festival and Entertainment Forum.

Announced earlier were Adetola Kehinde as the co-chair of the Oro Kingdom Involvement Association, while Mrs. Yemisi Awoyale of Arowomole is to lead the association.

Dr. Adekunle Abikoye is to head the Oro Communities Development Forum, while Hon. Ismail Akoshile will head the Oro Action for Unity.

Others are Mr. Samson Oyatoye (Oro Youth for Action), Imam Agba Ijomu Oro (Oro Educational Restoration), and an aide to the Executive Governor of Lagos State, Hon. Toyin Aremu, who is to head the Oro Transportation Restoration.

The Oloro of Oro Kingdom, HRH Oba Joel Olaniyi Oyatoye Titiloye Olufayo II, will take the center stage for the Oro Agriculture Reform.

Others earlier announced include the Religion and Spiritual Forum, which has Imam Agba of Oro Kingdom, Pastor, and Traditional as members.

The revered monarch also hinted that the rehabilitation of old businesses and new businesses in the Oro Kingdom is paramount to the development of the kingdom, while noting that the Oro Health and Welfare Board will also be highly considered.
