The Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has described the death of the Elesa of Oke Ode, Oba AbdulKadir Adelodun as the end of a great era.
In a statement by the chief Press secretary to the governor Rafiu Ajakaye and copies made available to newsmen today, in ilorin the Governor described the late monarch as a courageous traditional ruler who had a glorious reign and under whom the Oke Ode community recorded tremendous socioeconomic growth and physical development.
The governor also extend his heartfelt condolences to the royal highnesses at the Ifelodun Traditional Rulers’ Council led by the Elese of Igbajaland Oba Ahmed Babalola, the immediate family of the deceased, and the good people of Oke Ode land.
The governor thereafter beseeched Almighty Allah to grant Oba Adelodun Al-Jannah Firdaus, and bring comfort to his family and the Oke Ode community at this trying time.
