The Main Organising Committee of the Annual Iponrin, Ileya Soccer Festival, has stated eight teams will be participating in this years edition of the Soceer fiesta.
This was contained in a Press Statement, signed and made available to newsmen yesterday, by the publicity Secretary of the Main Organising Committee, Mr. Ilias Olatunji Aloko, yesterday.
According to him, “No fewer than 8 teams will take part in the competition this year.
“This years edition will feature a merit ward for people who have been identifying with and supporting the annual competition, one way or the other, at the Iponrin Secondary School Play Ground,”he said.
The last edition of the tournament was won by Oke Ajia FC, after defeating Aluko-Budo Alfa FC, 3-0. While the third-placed match was between between Otebakin FC and Alade FC, which Alade FC won by 2 goals to One.
