Reverend Joshua Olayinka Olakunle as emerged as the running mate to the Kwara Social Democratic Party (SDP) governorship candidate Alhaji Hakeem Lawal for Kwara 2023 guber polls.
This was contained in a statement issued on Monday by Kwara SDP State Chairman, Alhaji AbdulAzeez Afolabi
According to the statement, Rev. Olakunle is a university of Ibadan trained lecturer and clergymen who rose through the ranks to become a chief lecturer at the Kwara State College of Education, Oro before his retirement in 2008.
The Astute Academician who is from Ora in Ifelodun local governments area of the state bagged a bachelor LIS and Masters Degree in religious studies from the prestigious university of Ibadan in 1983 and 1988 respectively, and a postgraduate Diploma in Education from University of Ilorin 1994.
He is a passionate community leader who has served kwara south socio-cultural groups and Igbomina Land.
