According to him, “The state government has done wonderful things in our community. The government’s touch is visible in Playfair Memorial College, and there are more efforts underway to see that not only the college, but most of our primary and secondary schools will be equipped and renovated.
“As a son of the soil, I am doing all I can to ensure my community benefits from the programme.
“I encourage you to give back more to the school as it is in sure need of infrastructure touch. The school was there for you when you needed it most, so the school needs your attention now,” he said.

“We are using this rare opportunity offered us today to appeal that we all rise up together and forthwith to make PMC an enviable citadel of knowledge, a centre of hope for the lost in knowledge, the upgrader of those degraded in understanding and the uplifter of the underprivileged in our ever unbalanced society and community.
“In this regards, the entire members of 1982 set, have decided to set the ball rolling by resolving to construct a befitting world class entrance gate to the school as a token of of efforts to make the college a continuous pride of us all,” he added.
