The Head of the Federal information Center Ilorin, Hajia Biliqis Oladimeji has commended the Federal Government on her efforts to ensure that Civil Servants are being paid promptly despite the economy challenges.
The Head of Centre made the commendation on Monday during her opening remarks at the Centre’s monthly training/discussion, July edition.In her words, “I want to commend the Federal Government under the Administration of President Muhammadu Buhari for his efforts to ensure that all Federal workers are being paid as and when due.””No workers are being owed for a month or months since this administration assumed office.” She added.She charged staff members to be alive to their responsibilities and justify their salaries being paid by the FG.The Assistant Deputy Director also enjoined members not to indulge themselves in frivolous discussions but to work on what could help them in their respective offices and posts, adding that they should make themselve useful.The Guest Speaker, Miss Yusuf Aishat, during his lecture, tagged; “Roles and Functions of Administrative Officers”, said as an Admin Officer, one needs to be ethically equipped like respect and uphold public laws that governs work; honesty; respect the confidentiality of information; foster an ethical, inclusive and divers culture among others.On the core values an administrator should posses, the guest lecturer listed integrity, transparency, excellence, and collaboration as parts of qualities an administrator should posses.
