The Governor of Kwara State Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has declared tomorrow a work-free day for civil servants in the state to enable them register to vote in the next general election.

This is contained in a statement issued on Thursday by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Rafiu Ajakaye and copies made available to newsmen in Ilorin.“His Excellency urges the people of Kwara State, especially the civil servants, to take full advantage of the holiday to perform their civic duty of registering to vote,” it stated.The holiday comes as the INEC closes the continuous voter registration exercise on Sunday July 31.
