The Nigerian Army College of Education (NACOE) Sobi Cantonment, Ilorin, is set to hold its second science and entrepreneurship exhibition week.
This was contained in a statement on Tuesday by the Acting Assistant Director Army Public Relations, Nigerian Army College of Education Ilorin Captain TM Oluwafemi and copies made available to Sobi FM.
He said the college which is an offshoot of the defunct Nigerian Army School of Education (NASE) established in 1970 as the training branch of the Nigerian Army Education Corps began running Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) programme in 1987 and Degree programme in Education in affiliation with Tai Solarin University of Education Ijagun, Ijebu-Ode Ogun State in 2019.
“Aside Humanities and Sciences, the college runs vocational courses in its two programmes,” he said.
The statement said the college’s Centre for Entrepreneurship Development (CED) was established in 2020 in order to promote the development and acquisition of specialized skills in relevant vocations and entrepreneurs by students and members of staff in line with the requirements of National Commission for Colleges of Education and National Universities Commission.
The second edition of the exhibition week is scheduled to hold at the Brigadier General FF Oyeneyin Sports Complex, NACOE, Sobi Cantonment from 10th -11th August 2022 starting by 9am daily.
