The Chairman, Kwara Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM), Mallam Bello Abubakar, has said that the recent BluePrint Governor of the Year 2022 Award given to Gov. AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq was a testimony of his unprecedented transformation in the state.

The TESCOM chairman made this known in a statement issued by his Press Secretary, Mr Jide Abolarin, on Friday in Ilorin.

The statement quoted the chairman in his congratulatory message to the governor as saying the award is a confirmation that the state was indeed on the right course.

”The recognition is indeed a testimony to the fact that the people’s governor has brought unprecedented achievements in governance and the sustainable development to the nooks and crannies of the state.

”We laud the achievements of the governor, particularly in the education sector, which has restored the lost confidence of Kwarans in the education sector.

“Aside this, there are other noticeable interventions cutting across other sectors that have not just opened up the state as one of the investment destinations in the country.

He added that four years ago, everything was at a standstill and Kwara was just below the ladder with no meaningful development.”Teachers were owed salaries and the classrooms were terribly dilapidated. But today, he has shown us that Kwara can indeed be transformed, which his recent award confirms.”We however urge all Kwarans to support the governor to do more by supporting him to bring his beautiful blueprint for the state to reality,’’ the TESCOM chairman was quoted as saying.
