Chairman, Governing Board of the National Broadcasting Commission (NBC), Honourable Bashir Omolaja Bolarinwa has felicitated with the Hon. Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed on his worthy recognition as a recipient of the prestigious National Honour of the Commander of the Order of the Niger (CON).
In a congratulatory message personally signed by him, Hon. Bolarinwa enthused about the sterling qualities of the Hon. Minister.
According to him “I have followed the political trajectory of Alhaji Lai Mohammed over the last two decades of services to our dear country and l say without any fear of contradiction that he truly deserves this worthy recognition by Mr. President and even more.
“His contribution to governance and fight for political emancipation are well documented. He is standard bearer for democracy and l am sure his place in history is not only assured, many more accolades will come his way.
“I can attest to his unwavering commitment to national service and the several innovations he has brought to bear on the firmament of Information management and preservation of our cultural history as Hon. Minister of Information and Culture in the last 7 years”
Hon. Bolarinwa, similarly congratulated the world renowned Neuro-surgeon, Professor Wale Suleiman for his recognition for the national honour of CON, saying,” this recognition is no doubt a testament of his record breaking accomplishments in his career and humanitarian gestures.
Hon. Bolarinwa said further, “I pray Almighty Allah to grant both recipients good health and strength to continue to serve our fatherland for the benefit of mankind”.
