The Kwara State People Democratic Party (PDP), says the party is ready to embrace issue-based campaigns as the opposition party roles out its campaign teams ahead of the 2023 general elections.
Speaking during a press conference held at the Secretariat of the party along GRA, ilorin, the state Chairman of PDP, Honorable Babatunde Muahammad said Doctor Mahmud Babatunde Ajeigbe as the state Director General for Atiku Abubakar Presidential Campaign team.
The Chairman announced Alhaji Saka Babatunde as the deputy director general for Kwara central while honourable Akanni Abdulrahaman will serve as deputy director general for Kwara South and Hajia Ahman Patigi will be Deputy Director General for Kwara North.
The PDP state Chairman also confirmed that the former speaker of the Kwara State house of assembly, Professor Ali Ahmed will lead the state campaign team for the National Assembly, Gubernatorial and House of Assembly.
He also announced Otunba Anu Ibiwoye as the deputy director general for Kwara South, Doctor Abubakar Amuda Kennike will represent Kwara Central while Alhaji Musa Idris Woru will serve as deputy director general for Kwara North.
Hon. Babatunde Muahammad however, who promised that the party will maintain peace and harmony during the campaign saying the party would continue to stay on the trajectory of the real issues that agitate the minds of Nigerians.
