The special adviser on Media and Strategy to the Peoples Democratic Party’s gubernatorial candidate in Kwara State, Alhaji Abdulwahab Oba, has described the state governor, AbdulRazaq AbdulRahman as crude, rude and shameless for preventing the PDP’s presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, from passing through the road in front of the state’s government house.

Atiku was in Ilorin for the flag off of the PDP’s Presidential Campaign in the North Central Zone.

In a statement issued on Friday and copies made available to newsmen in Ilorin, Oba said for a governor whose only trademark is a series of lies, corruption and grandstanding to prevent peaceful movement in the state is tantamount to a display of incompetence, indolence and inferiority complex.

Oba called on Gov AbdulRahman to desist from his arrogant display of power but give an account of more than half a trillion naira that accrued to it in the last 42 months.

According to the statement “Despite this huge sum of money that came into the government’s account, AbdulRahman has continued to accumulate an unprecedented debt to the state, thereby jeopardising and endangering the future of our youths”, Oba alleged,” he said.

The former CPS said if elected, he said, Yaman will not be that governor that will either engage in currency trafficking or build refineries in any part of the world with the state’s meagre resources.

“Alh. Abdullahi Shuaibu Yaman is irrevocably committed to embarking on pragmatic measures that will bail the state out from this exclusive government into an all-inclusive participatory government”, Oba promised.

“It’s obvious that AbdulRahman lacks the requisite emotional and intellectual capacities to run the state. The fortune and the future of Kwara cannot be entrusted to someone who prides himself as capable of not communicating with anyone for ten days”, Oba said.
