The African Democrat Congress, ADC, candidate for the Ifelodun, Offa and Oyun Federal Constituency, Hon. Gbenga Oyekunle-Power has commenced distribution of Two trucks of Rice across the three local governments in preparation for Christmas.
Gbenga-Power as he is fondly called, told beneficiaries at some of the wards visited that the distribution of One Thousand Five Hundred bags of Rice is part of steps to ensure people in the constituency celebrate the festive season with joy.
In Amoyo, the ADC candidate was received by a large number supporters for his philanthropic gestures before his political ambition especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.
An elder in the community, Mr Jamiu Olaiya expressed optimism that Gbenga-Power would emerge as a winner in 2023 general elections.
In Idofian, the ADC candidate for Ifelodun, Offa and Oyun Federal Constituency, was received by both the Yoruba and community.
In her submission, ADC candidate for Idofian community at the State House of Assembly, Oluwaseun Bamigbade urged the supporters to cast their vote for Gbenga Power as their candidate for Federal the Constituency.
At Ilemona in Oyun Local Government Area, supporters were already on ground to receive the ADC candidate as he was hosted to a rousing welcome.
Addressing supporters at the Ilemona, Gbenga Oyekunle Power explained to supporters that his aim is to ensure the people enjoy Christmas, hence the things he brought is not for party members alone but for the entire community.
The Elemona of Ilemona, Oba Yusuf Omokanye, offered royal blessing.
Also in Erin-Ile , the ADC Women leader, Mrs Ganiyat Lawal could not contain her happiness for the huge turnout of supporters in the area, while expressing hope that more than such number is expected to vote for Gbenga Power in 2023 election.
In the same vein, Gbenga Power extended his hand of gestures to Offa in Offa Local Government Area by installing Ten Solar Power in Oja-Oba and Oja Owode.
Speaking at the inauguration, Chairman of ADC in Offa Local Government Area, Comrade Adegoke Sharafa called on supporters to work assiduously for the success of Gbenga Power.
The Iyaloja of Oja-Oba, Offa, Alhaja Lateefat Faruk, prayed for the success of Gbenga Power.
In a response, Gbenga Power assured the market women of more meaningful development if elected to represent them at the green hallowed Chambers.
The campaign train was also at Omupo where mammoth crowd waited patiently for the ADC House of Representatives hopeful where he was received by Professor Raphael Olarinoye.
In the entourage of Gbenga Power to the communities visited were ADC party stalwarts such as Prince Shola Popoola, Mr Adeshina Olarewaju, Madam Bisi among others.
