The House of Representatives candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party for the Asa/Ilorin West Federal Constituency, Alhaji Ibrahim Mohammed Ajia has congratulated Nigerians on the successful transition to the new year, 2023, with a call for Nigerians Nigerians to pick-up their PVCs inorder to participate actively in the 2023 general elections
Ajia in a statement issued on Sunday his media team and made available to newsmen in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital congratulates Nigerians on witnessing the new year.
According to the statement , “I send my special greetings to families, friends and every Nigerian that is fortunate to witness the New Year, 2023.
“As we enter the New Year, let us continue working to rebuild our economy, secure our country as well as protecting Nigeria’s democracy,” he said
Ajia also adviced Nigerians to get their Permanent Voters’ Card, PVC to enable them participate actively in the process to rescue Nigeria from bad governance through participatory elections.
He added that 2022 was a survival year for every Nigerian, due to the failure of government to address several challenges confronting the nation which has further make lives more difficult for the people.
The Founder of MAI Foundation emphasized on the need to come together to overcome the present challenges facing the nation, adding that, getting out of it has becomes collective responsibilities for every Nigerian.
Ajia reiterates his commitment to people’s welfare, and therefore pledged to continue to strive for the well-being of Kwarans and more importantly his constituents in Asa and Ilorin West Local Governments.
“It is important to support the PDP in her efforts to salvage the country from APC government and reposition the country on the path of growth and development.
“Our Party, the PDP has put forward credible candidates with the needed experiences and expertise to revive the country’s economy, ” he said.
