The Nigeria Union of Teachers ( NUT ), Kwara State Wing has commended teachers in the state for their prompt resumption to their various schools for academic activities after the end of vacation period to commence the second term academic session.
The Chairman of NUT, Comrade Oyewo Muhammad Bashir who also welcome students and pupils back to their various schools, urged them to show more commitment and dedication to their study and all other academic activities in the school.
He reminded the students that the best legacy that could afford them good life and better future is no other thing than education and hard work.
He added that as potential leaders of tomorrow they need to avoid truancy, laziness and immorality, rather they should be committed to a better future by embracing education.
Bashir also called on parents to always encourage their children and wards to cultivate good attitude to education, even as he reminded them to always endeavour to provide all educational materials that enhances learning.
He further charged parents to always support teachers in the tasks of impacting knowledge and positively moulding the lives of the younger generation to ensure a better society.
