The Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM) has commended Titilope Anifowose, a lawyer turned Oil and Gas player over the publication of her memoir, “Unleashed Dreams; A Thorny journey to Tranquility”, which was launched in Ilorin, Kwara State over the weekend.

Dibiri who wrote the foreword for the book, described the memoir as “Hope for the youth seeking more peaceful coexistence among the obstacles and conflicts of Nigerian Political space.

According to her “Unleashed Dreams challenges us to confront our anxieties, analyse our beliefs, and unravel the thorny undergrowth that obstructs our path to peace.

“The author shares her own personal experiences and provides practical methods and approaches to navigate the dilemma of leadership through introspection, knowledge and profound insights.

“Remember that your quest for tranquility is a lifelong practice, a constant dance with the ever-changing rhythms of existence. It is a path of self-compassion , acceptance and love that allows us to embrace our true essence and live genuinely, free of the thorns that once entangled us” she added.

In the same vein, Speaker, Kwara State House of Assembly, RT. Hon. Yakubu Salihu-Danladi while commending the author, encouraged other Kwarans across the globe, especially the youth to take a cue from the author who he described as a pathfinder.

“I am always elated to hear news of wonderful exploits by Kwara born youths, Titilope is an inspiration to several youths, she’s been consistent pursing her believes of serving and impacting humanity positively, if we have all young Kwarans with similar mindset, our State will be the better for it.

“I commend her for documenting her life experiences, it’ll serve as a guide for the generations coming behind and in her, especially the girl-child have a worthy role model and mentor” he said.

Speaking on her rationale for writing the memoir, Barr. Titilope Anifowose said “This is a reflection of my own journey, an account of how I navigated a world rife with challenges, and how I found purpose and meaning in the pursuit of my dreams.

“As an individual who has thrice walked away from a position many Nigerian youth would give anything to occupy, I have come to appreciate the lessons learned from my experiences both good and bad.

“I hope that by sharing my story, I can empower young people to distinguish between patriotism and extremism, to understand the importance of resilience and to realise that they can achieve greatness no matter their circumstances” she added.
