Academics within and outside the state have described the appointment of Doctor Abdulkareem Amuda-kannike as the Registrar-designate of the College of Education, Oro as round peg in a round hole.

Speaking after a special prayer organised at the family house of the new Registrar, Kennike Compound Ojagboro, the former acting Provost of the College, Dr Abdulwahab Alafara described Amuda Kennike as an hardworking and a man who does any assignments given to him diligently.

Also speaking the outgoing Registrar of the College, Mr Isiaka Suleiman Oba-Agaka described Dr Amuda-Kannike as a competent man for the new assignment, urging him to sustain the good legacies left behind by his predecessor.

Speaking on the sidelines of the prayer session by the family, Professor Abiodun Amuda-Kannike described appointment of the Registrar-designate as well deserved in view of his wealth of experience in administration and human capital development.

Prof Amuda-Kannike who expressed confidence in the ability of Registrar-designate to deliver in the new assignment, urged him to continue to be good ambassador of Kannike family by maintaining the spirit of hardwork, committee, dedication duty as well as coordial relationship with all the staff and students of the institution.

Dr Amuda-Kannike’s appointment takes effect from April 16, 2023, when the tenure of the current Registrar of the College, Mr Isiaka S. Oba-Agaka would lapse the position he will run for the next five years.
