Afrihealth Optonet Association, AHOA, has extended hearty congratulations to Her Excellency Dr. Princess Adejoke Orelope-Adefulire, the Senior Special Assistant to President Bola Tinubu on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), on being conferred with the prestigious “Iconic Woman in Public Service of the Year” award.
In a statement signed by Dr. Uzodinma Adirieje, CEO and Permanent Representation to the United Nations, Afrihealth Optonet Association, and made available to newsmen, the association hailed Mrs. Orelope-Adefulire’s exemplary dedication and outstanding contributions to public service.
The award, presented during the African Iconic Women Recognition Awards and Women In Leadership Summit 2024, stands as a resounding testament to Mrs. Orelope-Adefulire’s commendable efforts in advancing Nigeria’s progress towards the Agenda 2030 Sustainable Development Goals.
Dr. Adirieje, representing the Chair of Afrihealth Optonet Association (AHOA)’s International Advisory Board, Rt. Hon. Dr. Thokozani Khupe, PhD, former Deputy Prime Minister of Zimbabwe, and AHOA’s member organizations spanning 107 countries, expressed unequivocal support and admiration for Mrs. Orelope-Adefulire’s leadership.
“Your emergence as the majority winner in the keenly contested and public voting process for this award, clearly justifies our choice of you in the process, as well as our unfettered conviction and loyalty to your celebrated leadership in nurturing Nigeria’s match towards achieving the Agenda 2030 SDGs,” the statement read.
As the world prepares to honor Mrs. Orelope-Adefulire for her remarkable achievements, Afrihealth Optonet Association emphasized the importance of acknowledging her enduring legacies and continued dedication to public service.
