As part of his efforts at ensuring that youth are self sufficient the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for Asa/Ilorin-West Federal constituency, Alhaji Ibrahim Mohammed Ajia has empowered young people in Magajin Geri constituency of Ilorin West Local Government area of the state.
The PDP House of Reps hopeful, had while speaking shortly after the distribution of items Worth million of naira explained that the gesture was part of his commitment towards youth empowerment and development.
Ajia, a philanthropist and founder of Muhammed Ajia Ibrahim (MAI), Foundation disclosed that similar empowerment was done for PDP Youth Constituency in Asa and Ilorin-West local governments a few weeks ago.
“This is an indication that we have passion and to show that we share the pains Nigerians are going through at this moment.
“Today, we are feeling the highest pains we have never seen in this country. Nobody brought this kind of pains to Nigeria rather than APC, and we are saying the PDP as a party has all what it takes to take Nigeria out of the problems we have today.
In their submissions, Mohammed Nuru Magaji, Kamadeen, Baba Agaka
Aminat Alade Okin and others who spoke lauded Ajia’s kind gesture, and prayed for his victory in the coming reps election, may God continue to replenish your picket, this shows you are readily prepared to serve people’ they said
They also urged the beneficiaries to utilise the items judiciously while advising young people in the federal constituency to vote wisely.
Items distributed are; Freezers, sewing machines, pumping machines, generators, laptops while some women received cash gifts.
