Al-Hikmah University in Ilorin has matriculated 1,214 students for the 2024/2025 academic session.
During the 19th matriculation ceremony, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Noah Yusuf warned the new students against engaging in anti-social vices such as drug abuse, cultism, and examination malpractice.
Prof. Yusuf emphasized the importance of upholding high moral standards while pursuing quality education.
He advised the matriculating students to utilize their time wisely and focus on their studies.
In a matriculation lecture delivered by Professor Oguntola Jelil Alamu from the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Osun State University, Osogbo, students were encouraged to embrace change and actively participate in the economic transformation of the country.
Prof. Alamu urged the new intakes to be part of transformation decision-making programs.
