The Kwara state Amirul-Hajj, Dr. Ibrahim Yahaya Oloriegbe, has given the state Hajj Board a pass mark for their exceptional efforts in organizing this year’s Hajj pilgrimage.
Speaking at a press briefing in Makkah Dr. Ibrahim commended the board for their hard work and dedication, which ensured a smooth and successful pilgrimage for the state’s contingent.
Dr. Ibrahim who emphasized the critical role of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), urged the commission to improve their services to ensure a seamless Hajj journey for all pilgrims.
Expressing his gratitude to all stakeholders involved in the Hajj operations, the Amirul-Hajj called for continued collaboration to enhance the Hajj experience for all pilgrims.
He also appealed for ongoing support and cooperation from the government and the people of Kwara State to facilitate future Hajj operations.
Responding to a question from journalists about the noticeable improvement in feeding, Professor Mahmud Jimba, Board chairman of the state pilgrims welfare board acknowledged the efforts of the Kwara State Government.
He praised the collaboration between the government, himself, and the Executive Secretary of the Commission, which led to the employment of indigenous caterers to serve the state’s contingent.
