The presidential candidateof the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Atiku Abubakar will lead the party’s grand rally for the Osun State governorship election on Thursday.
The former vice president’s spokesperson, Paul Ibe, confirmed this to Daily Trust on Monday.
Atiku has been out of the country but it was gathered that he will be cutting short his trip for the Osun guber poll.
Ibe noted that Atiku will lead the PDP campaign train to mobilise the people of the state to cast their votes for the party’s governorship candidate, Ademola Adeleke.
The PDP flagbearer will also be at the forefront of moves to resolve the crisis that is trailing the selection of the party’s vice presidential candidate.
The camp of Rivers State governor Nyesom Wike is not happy with Atiku’s refusal to pick him as the running mate.
