The immediate past Kwara Central Senator, Dr Ibrahim Yahaya Oloriegbe has urged Muslims to continue exhibiting the kindness and other virtuous acts they demonstrated during the just-concluded Ramadan beyond the holy month.
In a congratulatory message made available to the press through his media aide, Bolaji Aladie, Dr Oloriegbe noted that the lessons of unity and selflessness taught by Ramadan can transform society if adhered to.
He added that society and individual characters have undergone spiritual rebirth and transformation in the last 30 days, and it is essential not to return to our old selves but to be enhanced by fasting.
The erstwhile lawmaker who is in Saudi for a Lesser Hajj also congratulated fellow Muslim Ummah across the country, Kwara State, and most especially the people of Ilorin Emirate, through the Royal father, His Royal Highness, Alh. Dr Ibrahim Sulu Gambari, CFR, and other religious leaders, on the celebration of Eid-el-Fitri, prayed for Allah’s acceptance of their Ibadah and supplications.
