Former Speaker of the Kwara State House of Assembly and Professor of Constitutional Law, Rt. Hon. Prof. Ali Ahmad, has extended warm wishes to the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji (Dr) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, on the occasion of his 84th birthday.
In a statement issued by his media office spokesperson, Ali lauded the emir’s contributions to the peace, growth, and development of Ilorin, Kwara State, and Nigeria as a whole.
Ali commended the emir’s consistent support for his subjects, describing him as a unifying figure for all residents of the Ilorin Emirate.
He said, “On behalf of my family, I join other illustrious sons and daughters of the Ilorin Emirate in celebrating our revered royal father, Alhaji (Dr) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, on his joyous 84th birthday.
“We celebrate Mai Martaba for his immense contribution towards the peaceful atmosphere, growth, and development of the Emirate, Kwara State, and the nation at large. No doubt, our father’s fondness for providing succor to his subjects in times of need is worth celebrating by all and sundry.
“The Emir stands as a rallying point for all of us who are bonafide sons and daughters of the Ilorin Emirate. I pray Allah (SWT) grants the revered royal father a longer life and good health. Aameen.”
Professor Ali expressed his admiration for the emir’s exemplary qualities and prayed for his continued well-being and longevity.
