The Federal Executive Council (FEC) granted approvals under the Infrastructure Tax Credit Scheme (Executive Order 7) to the BUA Group to construct four major roads in Kwara state.

The state governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq gave the hint on Wednesday in a personally signed statement made available to newsmen in Ilorin.

The roads are Kosubosu-Kaiama-Bode Saadu (130km); Bacita-Shonga-Lafiagi (83km); Eiyenkorin-Afon-Offa-Odo Ottin (49km); and Okuta-Bukuro Road, which connects to the Benin Republic (32km) making a total of 294km in all.

Gov AbdulRasaq said when completed, the infrastructure would ease the stress of road travels within Kwara and nearby states.

He further revealed the projects would bring about immense development and food security.

The governor, appreciated President Muhammadu Buhari for the development.
