The Chairman of Gbenga Power Foundation, Hon. Gbenga Oyekunle-Power, has expressed profound sadness over the death of Mr. AbdulRazaq Bello, a journalist with Harmony FM Idofian, who passed away on Monday.
In a condolence message issued on Tuesday, Hon. Oyekunle-Power described the incident as an unfortunate and shocking loss. He highlighted the late Bello’s hard work, professionalism, and humility as defining traits that made the news of his death difficult to believe.
“The demise of AbdulRazaq Bello is a great loss,” Oyekunle-Power stated. “He was a very good brother, a close friend, and most importantly, a gentle and trusted ally. May his soul rest in peace, and may Almighty God grant him eternal rest.”
Hon. Oyekunle-Power extended his heartfelt condolences to the family of the deceased, the entire management of Harmony FM, the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Kwara State Council, as well as friends and associates affected by the loss.
The NUJ Kwara State Council, along with colleagues and friends of the late journalist, continues to mourn the passing of a dedicated member of the press community, whose contributions to journalism in Kwara State were both significant and impactful.
