The Governor of Kwara state Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has moved the presentation of the 2023 Twenty Twenty-three budget proposal to the Kwara State House of Assembly till tomorrow.
This is contained in a letter written to the House by the Governor and read during plenary today by the Speaker, Hon Yakubu Danladi-Salihu to his colleagues.
According to the letter, Governor AbdulRazaq apologised for any inconveniences for the shift might have caused.
Sobi FM had reported last week that the speaker during plenary last week Thursday read a letter from the governor saying that the appropriation bill would be presented today.
He had said that his intent to present the Appropriation bill is in line with section One-Two-One subsection One of the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria as amended.
The speaker thereafter directed the clerk of the house Hajia Halima Kperoggi to ensure that everything is put in place to receive the governor tomorrow.
