An Ilorin Magistrate court, presided over by Magistrate O.A Adeniyi has ordered the remand of a twenty one year old tiller, Ali Ahmed, who allegedly abducted and impregnated a sixteen year old girl in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital.
According to the police report, the victim’s father, one Ahmed Muhammed, reported at the police station that his daughter has been abducted by the defendant (Ahmed).
Sobi FM’s Judiciary Correspondent, Kayode Adeoti, reports that investigation further revealed that the victim’s mother has once warned the defendant to keep away from her daughter but turned deaf ear.
The prosecutor, Moshood Adebayo, prayed the court to order the defendant’s remand in the Correctional facility.
The Magistrate O.A Adeniyi, who precised over the matter acceded to the prayer.
