Ilorin Court Remands 3 Suspected Kidnappers in Correctional Facility

The suspects; Bature Seriki, Lawal Jamiu and Fatimoh Anaruwa allegedly kidnapped one Alfa Biliaminu and four of his friends who were coming from Lagos for a burial ceremony.Police report stated that Biliaminu and four of his friends were attacked by the suspects and taken to a thick forest at Aboto village in Afon town, Asa Local Government Area of the State.The combined efforts of the police, vigilante and local hunter, however, led to the arrest of the suspects in the bush while they failed to give satisfactory account of why they were there.The Prosecutor, Zacchaeus Folorunsho informed the court of the motion exparte attached to the police report requesting that they are kept in the Correctional facility for the alleged offences against them.Our Judicial Correspondent, reports that the Magistrate in his short ruling, granted the request while the matter was adjourned to 29th of this month for further mention.
