The Kwara State Government is set to employ additional 4,500 teaching and non-teaching staff to address the challenges of inadequate staff at the various Local Government Areas of the State.

Former chairman of the Kwara State Basic Universal Education Board, Alhaji Ladi Hassan disclosed this yesterday while handing over to the Acting Chairman of the board in Ilorin yesterday.

He added that those workers to be engaged would have to sing a bond with the State to work for four years at their various local governments.

He thanked the state Governor Abdul Fatah Ahmed for approving the recruitment of more staff to further enhance teaching and learning in the state, particular at the grassroots.
