The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC Kwara State, has issued Certificates of Return to state Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazak and all winners of the House of Assembly elections held on March 18 in the state.
Sobi FM’s Toyin Saheed report that the Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, who was elected for a second termhis deputy, Mr Kayode Alabi and all the house of Assembly members-elect were presented the certificate today at the state INEC Head, Mandate Area Ilorin.
The National Commissioner of INEC in charge of Kogi, Kwara and Niger State, Professor Sanni Mohammed Adams while presenting the certificate to the winners described the 2023 general elections as most peaceful in the history of Nigeria, as he congratulated the governor and other state house of assembly members.
Speaking after receiving the certificate of return, Governor AbdulRazaq, who praised the INEC and security agencies for their good job, assured the people of the state that he will fulfill all its campaign promises, while calling on all relevant stakeholders for their support.
