Renowned entrepreneur and philanthropist, Hon. Prince Kehinde Alex Bankole, has called on the people of Kwara State to ensure peaceful conduct during the upcoming Local Government elections scheduled for Saturday, 21st September 2024.
In a statement signed by him and made available to newsmen in Ilorin the prominent member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) emphasized the importance of mass participation in the elections, urging voters to come out in large numbers to perform their civic duties.
Hon. Bankole, who is a well-known figure in the real estate and oil sectors, underscored the significance of the election to grassroots development and the overall well-being of the people of Kwara.
“I urge all eligible voters to participate in tomorrow’s electoral process without fear or coercion,.
“Let us showcase our maturity and commitment to democratic values by ensuring that the election is peaceful, free from violence, and transparent,” he said.
He also appealed to security agencies, electoral officers, and stakeholders to uphold fairness and ensure that the integrity of the electoral process is maintained.
“Let us work together to ensure the success of this election, demonstrating our state’s commitment to democracy and development,” he said.
