The bridge linking Kulende and harmony estate to Akerebiata is on the verge of collapse due to part of it caving after heavy downpour starting from Thursday night till early Friday morning .

Sobi Fm Correspondent who visited the area this morning reports that the residents of the area has since cordoned off the bridge to prevent vehicles and motorcycle from passing the bridge to prevent any disaster, according to prevent loss of life from the imminent collapse of the brigde and they are calling in the government to quickly take actions by blocking off the road.

The flood water has washed off the supporting cast underneath the bridge, which has left the bridge on the verge of imminent collapse.

Houses around the area were also submerged by rising water from the Asa rover that passed through the area.

Also fish farmers and vegetables farmer have also lost their farm produce to the flood which swept away all the produce worth millions of naira.

The residents have however called on the Kwara State governor Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq to quickly directs the ministry of works and transport to cordoned off the area to avoid loss of life and also see to the bridge is repaired.
