The Kwara State House of Assembly said it would begin the screening of the Commissioner-nominees on Wednesday, August 16, 2023.
The Speaker, Rt. Hon. Yakubu Danladi-Salihu, who announced his at the plenary on Tuesday said the screening process would hold for 3 days as the nominees have been divided into three groups as presented by the Speaker, Kwara State House of Assembly today at the plenary.
To be screened on Wednesday, 16th August 2023, are AbdulGaniyu Abdulazeez Ola (Asa); Sheu Ndanusa Uthman (Edu); Dr Segun Ogunshola (Ifelodun); Saadatu Madibo Kawu (Ilorin South); Oloruntoyosi Thomas (Isin); Abubakar Abdulahi Batta (Kaiama).
While Amina El-imam (Offa); Olaitan Burema (Oyun); Aliyu Kora Sabi (Baruten); Afolasade Opeyemi Kemi (Ekiti); Abdulqowiyu Olododo (Ilorin East); Senior Ibrahim Sulyman ( Ilorin West) are slated for Thursday 17th August 2023.
Others who would be screened on Monday 21, August 2023 are Damilola Yusuf (Isin); Bola Olukoju (Irepodun); Bello John Olarewaju (Moro); Dr. Mary Ayinde ( Oke-Ero); Usman Yunusa Lade (Patigi); Hawau Nuhu (Ilorin West).
It would be recalled that the House on Monday unveiled the list of 18 commissioner-nominees as transmitted by Governor of Kwara State Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq.
