The Kwara State House of Assembly has confirmed Eighteen Commissioner Nominees submitted to the House by Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq
The confirmation of the Commissioner Nominees was sequel to the screening and consideration of the Nominees at the Committee of Whole during plenary today inline with section 182 (1 & 2 ) of the 1999 Constitution.
The newly confirmed Commissioners by the House were Doctor Amina Ahmed El-Imam,Offa,Folashade Opeyemi, Ekiti, Abdulqowiyu Olododo,Ilorin East, Olaitan Buraimah Abosede,Oyun, Senior Ibrahim Sulyman,Hawa Nuru, Ilorin West and Aliyu Kora Sabi, Baruten
Others are Doctor Segun Ogunshola, Ifelodun, Abdul-Azeez Kola, Asa, Abdullahi Batta, Kaiama, Saadah Maddibo-Kawu, Ilorin South, Shehu Ndanusa, Edu, Doctor Mary Arinde, Oke-Ero,Bolanle Odukuju, Irepodun,Toyosi Thomas,Usman Lade,Pategi and Damilola Isin among others
Our House of Assembly Correspondent, reports that Jemilah Adamu Bake from Baruten Local Government was also confirmed as a Commissioner, in the Kwara State Civil Service Commission.
The Speaker, Rt. Honourable Yakubu Danladi-Salihu therefore directed Clerk of the House, Alhaji Abdul-kareem Olayiwola Ahmed to communicate the notice of the confirmation to the Governor.
