The Kwara state house of Assembly has directed Acting Chief Judge of the State Justice Abiodun Ayodele Adebara to appear before the House tomorrow for screening and confirmation as substantive Chief Judge of the State
The speaker of the house Hon. Yakubu Danladi Salihu gave the directive following a Message from the Governor, requesting the confirmation of Justice Adebara, which was read by the Speaker before his colleagues at the plenary today.
Governor Abdulrazaq said the name of Justice Adebara was forwarded to the House following, the retirement of Justice Sulaiman Durosinlohun Kawu.
He said Justice Adebara is being penciled in as a substantive Chief Judge after as his recommended by National Judicial Council for appointment in line with Section Two Seven-One Subsection One of the Constitution.
The Speaker, therefore instructed Justice Abiodun Ayodele Adebara directed to submit Thirty-five copies of his Credentials to the Clerk of office before the closing of work today.
