The Kwara State College of Nursing Sciences, Òkè-Ọdẹ́, has applauded Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for what it described as his administration’s consistent and strategic investment in tertiary education.
The Provost of the College, Alhaji Lamidi Olanrewaju Quadri, gave the commendation while presenting the 2025 Nursing and Midwifery Council Examination results to the Commissioner for Tertiary Education in Ilorin.
He disclosed that the College recorded a 100 per cent pass rate in the recently released council examination, attributing the success to what he called “the untiring efforts and heavy investments” made by the AbdulRazaq-led government in the education sector.
The provost said the College of Nursing Sciences, Òkè-Ọdẹ́, has consistently ranked among the top-performing institutions in the country, a reputation it has now further cemented with its latest results.
“This outstanding performance is not by magic wand,” the Provost declared. “It is an empirical evidence of the Governor’s commitment to excellence in education.”
Alhaji Quadri also expressed appreciation to the commissioner for Tertiary education Hajia Saaatu Moddibo-Kawu for what he described as its unwavering support to the institution.
He said the College’s recent milestone would not have been possible without the collaborative spirit and technical backing from the supervising ministry.
While dedicating the College’s impressive feat to Governor AbdulRazaq, the Provost congratulated him in advance on the upcoming sixth anniversary of his administration, noting that the period has brought visible development and transformation to the state’s educational sector and beyond.
“We hope that this cordial relationship between the College and the State Government will continue to grow stronger,” he added.
