The Kwara State Government has announced that the Common Entrance Placement Examination into Junior Secondary Schools across the 16 Local Government Areas will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2024.
In a statement issued today by Peter Amogbonjaye, the Press Secretary for the Ministry of Education and Human Capital Development, the exam is scheduled to begin promptly at 8:00 am at various examination centers across the state.
The statement urged principals, head-teachers, and pupils to avoid all forms of examination malpractices during the examination. It reiterated that the state government has fully funded the placement examination, warning that any principal or headteacher found collecting illegal fees from pupils would face legal consequences.
The statement also advised pupils to bring their screening cards, duly signed by the principal of their chosen school, as no pupil will be allowed to sit for the examination without this card.
