The Kwara State Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq has charged the newly sworn-in Commissioners and Permanent Secretaries to be good players, who will earn the trust of the public with exemplary conduct and commitment to the larger interest of the state and country at large.
The Governor gave the charge today after the Inauguration of the Members of the State Executive Council and Permanent Secretaries held at the Council Chamber of the Government House Ilorin.
The governor, who said the development marks a new beginning in his administration assured the people of Kwara State to engage in a policy that will improve the life of the people.
Government House Correspondent Toyin Saheed reports that Abdulganiyu AbdulAzeez is now the commissioner for the Ministry of Energy; Alhaji Aliyu Kora Sabi (Ministry of Planning and Economic Development); Sheu Ndanusa Usman (Ministry of Environment);
Afolasade Opeyemi Kemi (Ministry of Social Development).
Doctor Segun Ogunsola (Ministry of Housing and Urban Development); Abdulquawiy Olododo (Ministry of Solid Minerals); Senior Ibrahim Suleiman (Ministry of Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice); Doctor Hauwa Nuru (Ministry of Finance); Damilola Yusuf (Ministry of Business Innovation and Technology); Oloruntoyosi Thomas (Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development); and Bola Olukoju (Ministry of Communications).
Others are, Abubakar Abdullahi Bata (Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs); Bello John Olanrewaju (Ministry of Special Duties); Doctor Amina El-Imam (Ministry of Health); Doctor Mary Arinde (Ministry of Tertiary Education); Olaitan Buraimoh (Ministry of Women Affairs) and Usman Yunusa (Ministry of Water Resources)
Similarly, the State Governor approved the appointment of Prince Mahe Abdul Kadir as the Secretary to the State Government.
The announcement was made before the swearing-in of the new commissioners.
Mahe who is the son of the late Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Abdul Kadir (Baba Agba) was an Ex-Permanent Secretary.
