A Kwara-based sociopolitical group, Kwara Liberation Movement has congratulated the outgoing Senator representing Kwara Central, Dr Ibrahim Yahaya Oloriegbe on his successful tenure laced with unprecedented achievements as the representative of Kwara Central in the last four years at the Nigerian Senate.
The group in a congratulatory letter signed by its chairman, Prof. Abdulganiy Ibrahim Jawondo on behalf of the elders, the Executive Council, the stakeholders and the entire membership of the movement, and sent to the lawmaker, expressed that Oloriegbe, “indeed performed creditably well to the admiration of many people”, stating further that his achievements, “have endeared APC into the minds of more people in Kwara State.”
“I am congratulating you Sir for the quality representation of your people at the Senate. There is no doubt Kwara Central people are not disappointed in your activities at the Senate, as it brought unprecedented dividend of democracy to their doorsteps.” The letter reads.
The group while noting that they share in Oloriegbe’s belief that “power belongs to Allah and HE gives it to whoever HE wishes at any point in time”, pray that Allah will continue to empower the Senator more to further care for his people at a more robust level.
The group which is a long-standing socio-political organization that is committed to the continued freedom of Kwarans and good governance at all levels in Nigeria had the late Tafida of Ilorin Emirate and founder, Geri Alimi Hospital, Dr Amuda Aluko as its erstwhile chairman.
