The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Kwara State Council has commiserated with the State Auditor of the Union, Mall. Zarumi Moshood, over the loss of his mother, Hajia Hassanat Saadu Zarumi.
A condolence message signed by the state Chairman of the union, Abdullateef ‘Lanre Ahmed and Secretary, Comrade Omotayo Ayanda, encouraged the bereaved family to be comforted that their late mother bequeathed a worthy legacy to them.
The message noted that the Union understands the pain the family of the deceased must have endured for losing their mother, but reminded them that death is inevitable for all mortals.
“When it comes knocking, all we have to do is to embrace God and cling to Him for both hope and succour”, the union added.
The condolence message identified Barrister Zarumi Moshood as a committed member of NUJ and as such, the Union would not fail to identify with him in this moment of grief.
While assuring him of continued support, the NUJ prayed God to console the family and grant them the fortitude to bear the colossal loss.
Hajia Hassanat Saadu Zarumi died on Sunday 14th August, 2022 at the age of 75 after and was interred in accordance with Islamic injunctions.
