The Kwara State Police command has rescued a Chinese National Kidnapped at CGC construction company along Shao/Oloru express last week Sunday.
This news of the release was contained in a statement issued by the commands spokesperson SP Ajayi Okasanmi and made available to newsmen today in Ilorin.
He said the Pressure mounted on the kidnappers by the rescue teams of the command forced them to abandon the victim and escape for their lives.
Okasanmi added that Policemen and the tactical teams deployed for the operation are still in the bushes in an effort to get the criminals arrested to face justice.
The Command spokesman also revealed that the police apprehended one Ibrahim Hamza of Okolowo area for whose stock in trade is buying, trading and trafficking of human body parts.
The police said Hamza recieved the package sent from Lagos at a motor park, adding that search conducted on him revealed a human skull concealed in a carton with his name and phone number inscribed on it.
Preliminary investigation into the matter revealed that the suspect actually procured the human skull, Horse head, Chimpanzee head and other items which were recovered in his house to which he confessed he intended to use for money making rituals.
The Commissioner of Police, CP Tuesday Assayomo, who commended the detectives for a job well done, admonished the investigating team to ensure that the remaining accomplices of the suspect are arrested and duly prosecuted.
